eXtended Quality System (XQS) 

An eXtended Quality System refers to a broad, often digitized, quality management approach that goes beyond the conventional, localized, or "within-the-four-walls" quality control of a single manufacturing site. It is designed to extend quality management across an entire ecosystem, including suppliers, multiple locations, and the full product lifecycle.
