The IPQC process inspection often comes in three types, namely:
The first initial sample of the production run is examined by inspectors at the initial inspection point. The intent of the first inspection is to identify any systematic issues early on in the manufacturing process, such as incorrect tool setup, incorrect equipment calibration, or incorrectly used raw materials and preventing a full production run of defective product.
Random inspections or patrols include random checks during production throughout the entire process to continually monitor quality assurance.
